Grading expectations:
* All coursework must be completed to receive a grade. If a student is missing
more than 3 assignments they will receive an incomplete for the quarter. When the work
is turned in, student will receive his/her grade. If work is not turned in (limit of 2 weeks) the
student will receive a grade of “F” for the quarter.
• Late assignments will be accepted, but not for credit.
* Students must turn in quality work. This means: the assignment is completed and each
problem shows or describes the procedure that was used to get the answer. Students will
self-assess their work using a rubric.
* Students are expected to participate during class by asking and answering questions, as
well as taking notes. Students will self-assess their class participation and note taking, using a
rubric.
